Bergen op Zoom is a typical Dutch town whose narrow streets, charming old squares and interesting monuments tell a tale of a rice and lively past. In the compact city centre there are more than 600 monuments. The oldest being the Lievenvrouwenpoort also known as the prisioners gate.
Bergen op Zoom is proud of it’s internationally orientated business centre. Where large companies such as General Electric, Philip Morris, Cargill, Bruynzeel. Akzo Resins and Danesco Foods, to name but a few, are situated.
The world class harbours of Rotterdam and Antwerp are only a stone’s throw away.
